1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and ScreenGrid (“ScreenGrid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) concerning screengrid.co and related services. By creating an account, making a reservation, submitting material, applying as a host or partner, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them.
If you do not agree, do not use the service or submit payment.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must have reached the age of majority where you live and have legal capacity to enter this agreement, or act through a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult representative. If you use ScreenGrid for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
You may not misrepresent your identity, business, authority over a property, or right to use submitted material.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep passwords and access credentials confidential.
- Notify ScreenGrid promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
- Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account, except where prohibited by law.
ScreenGrid may request verification before activating an account, accepting a campaign, processing a partner claim, or changing sensitive account information.
4. Advertising services and physical products
ScreenGrid provides tools to browse proposed or active display locations, reserve eligible inventory, submit creative, manage QR links, view available reporting, and order customized NFC and QR cards. Locations, schedules, screen formats, prices, audience estimates, product availability, and delivery estimates may change until confirmed.
A map listing, pre-sale label, application, checkout initiation, or account registration does not by itself guarantee a particular display, start date, audience size, campaign outcome, product completion date, or carrier delivery date. A campaign is accepted only after availability, content approval, and payment requirements are confirmed.
For an NFC or QR card order, you are responsible for providing an accurate destination link, business details, and shipping address. ScreenGrid may contact you to confirm a customized design before production. You must review requested proofs carefully; approval confirms the spelling, destination, and other visible details shown in that proof. NFC and QR destinations must remain lawful, safe, and publicly accessible.
5. Prices, billing, shipping, and refunds
Advertising prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Review-card storefront prices are displayed in United States dollars. Applicable taxes and third-party payment charges may be added where required. You authorize ScreenGrid and its payment providers to process approved charges.
The storefront currently charges the displayed per-card price plus the displayed flat shipping charge for eligible United States and Canadian addresses. Shipping time begins after customization and production, not necessarily on the payment date. Carrier delays and incomplete or inaccurate addresses can affect delivery.
Pre-sale deposits, recurring charges, product cancellations, damaged or incorrect products, and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy and any written order or campaign confirmation. If a written order conflicts with general website pricing, the written order controls for that order.
6. Advertising content and licences
You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant ScreenGrid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the campaign term to host, reproduce, resize, technically adapt, transmit, review, and display that material as needed to provide the service.
You represent that you have all required rights, permissions, consents, substantiation, and licences for your creative, trademarks, offers, destinations, and claims. Content must comply with the Advertising Policy.
7. Campaign delivery and measurements
ScreenGrid will use reasonable efforts to deliver an accepted campaign during its scheduled period. Display availability may be affected by equipment, internet, power, property access, safety, maintenance, emergency notices, or events beyond reasonable control.
Traffic, audience, impression, and reach figures may be estimates derived from third-party data, site observations, operating hours, or other reasonable methods unless expressly labelled as directly measured. QR scans and link events do not prove a unique person, purchase, or offline conversion. ScreenGrid does not guarantee sales, leads, revenue, or any specific business result.
8. Display hosts, vending placements, and partners
Submitting a display-host, vending-placement, or commission-partner application does not create a lease, agency, employment, franchise, partnership, fiduciary relationship, compensation right, or obligation to install equipment. ScreenGrid may assess authority, suitability, access, safety, electrical service, demand, and operating conditions, and may accept or decline an application. Any approved arrangement requires separate written terms covering authority, placement, access, responsibilities, duration, equipment, products, commission, and payment where applicable.
An application status, qualification score, site visit, or approval notice is informational and does not guarantee an installation date or final agreement. Applicants must provide accurate information and have authority—or disclose that they need to obtain it. Partners may not bind ScreenGrid, quote unauthorized pricing, make performance guarantees, send spam, misrepresent their role, or submit opportunities without permission.
9. QR links and third-party destinations
You are responsible for the safety, accuracy, legality, and continued availability of destinations connected to your QR code or ScreenGrid redirect. ScreenGrid may disable links that create security, legal, content, or user-safety concerns.
10. Third-party services
ScreenGrid may use third-party services for maps, hosting, payments, authentication, email, analytics, and storage. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply. ScreenGrid is not responsible for a third-party service outside its reasonable control.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” ScreenGrid does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free data, continuous display uptime, or a particular advertising result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenGrid will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or opportunities. ScreenGrid’s aggregate liability arising from a particular paid campaign will not exceed the amount paid to ScreenGrid for that campaign during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
12. Your responsibility for claims
You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, your violation of law, your lack of rights or authority, or your material breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by ScreenGrid’s own unlawful conduct.
13. Suspension and termination
ScreenGrid may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, repeated policy violations, misuse of QR links, or material breach. You may stop using the service and request account closure, subject to outstanding campaigns, payments, legal retention, and written commitments.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to rights that cannot be waived, disputes will be brought before the courts located in Ontario.
15. Changes and contact
ScreenGrid may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Material changes affecting an active paid campaign will not retroactively remove rights already earned unless required by law or agreed by the parties.
